We Shall BE Changed!

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Thessalonians 4:16-17

The Bible says that one day, 'in the twinkling of an eye' the trumpet will sound, and the Lord will call his own up to him. One day, while you are going about your business, God will call his people to heaven. One minute God's people will be there, and the next instant, they will all be gone.

Jesus describes this rapture in this way:  "For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.  Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left."  (Matthew 24:38-41.)

If Jesus is your Savior, then that day will be a day of rejoicing.  There will be no more suffering, or hardships, or trials, or temptation for us. We will be with God!  If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, then that is a day of weeping.  It is the first sign that God's Judgment is about to be poured out on this world and those who are left.  Do not shake your fist at God!  Accept his gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
